Who we are
The Resurrection is a musical with a creative team based in the United Kingdom and the United States. This website is hosted by IONOS. We offer apparel and other items through our Shop, powered by Gelato (a print-on-demand service).

What personal data we collect
When you use the contact form on this website, we collect the information you voluntarily provide: typically your name, email address, and the content of your message.
When you place an order in our Shop (powered by Gelato), we collect the personal data necessary to fulfill your order, such as your name, shipping address, email address, and order details. Payment information is processed securely by the payment provider you select at checkout.

How we use your data
We use the information from the contact form only to read your message and reply to you. We may occasionally forward your message (or ask another writing partner to respond) if it relates to their area of the project.
Data collected through the Shop is used solely to process and fulfill your order (including printing, shipping, and handling any related customer service queries). We do not use order data for marketing or any other purposes.
We do not add you to any mailing list or use your data for marketing.
Lawful basis for processing
• For contact form messages: Article 6(1)(b) of the UK GDPR – performance of a contract or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
• For shop orders: Article 6(1)(b) of the UK GDPR – necessary for the performance of a contract (processing and delivering your order).
How long we keep your data
We keep contact form emails only for as long as necessary to reply and deal with any follow-up. We do not store contact data in any database on the website itself.
Shop order data is retained only as long as needed to fulfill the order, handle returns/warranties if applicable, and meet legal obligations (e.g., tax records). Gelato may retain certain data according to their own retention practices as our processor.
Sharing your data
Your contact messages may be shared internally amongst writing partners on a need-to-know basis solely for responding to your inquiry.
For shop orders, we share the necessary personal data with Gelato (our print-on-demand processor) and their subprocessors (e.g., local printers and logistics providers) solely to produce and deliver your items. Gelato acts as a data processor on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement and processes the data only according to our instructions.
We do not share your data with any other third parties except as described above.

Our website is built using IONOS, which may set essential technical cookies necessary for the site to function. These are strictly necessary and do not require consent.
